Welcome back to my blog, those that know me personally. follow me on social media or have watched some of my previous videos would know how much I love and respect Rihanna as an artist as well as an individual. I went to see Rihanna at The Wembley Stadium on June 24th and it was an experience I will never forget.
DJ Mustard (who replaced The Weeknd) and Big Sean were the opening acts for the show and I must admit, they were both better than I expected. DJ Mustard’s setlist consisted of different genre’s of music such as Hip-Hop, Trap, Commercial etc. and I had no idea of the many hits he has produced (which includes Needed Me by Rihanna, Don’t Tell ‘Em by Jeremih, I Don’t Fuck With You by Big Sean, 2On by Tinashe just to name a few). In terms of Big Sean, I had always been a fan of him when it comes to him as a person and his fashion sense and didn’t know much of his music expect his commercial hits. However, his set was absolutely insane and his energy was on another level. I will definitely be checking out his music.
Despite the fact that Rihanna was several minutes late (reportedly due to people still arriving at the stadium), she put on an amazing show and exceeded my expectations. The energy in the stadium was absolutely insane from the moment Rihanna stepped out. We all know that Rihanna is stunning (from her candid photos to her photoshoots to her appearances) BUT Rihanna’s beauty, vocals and sex appeal in person is on another level. The setlist included many of her smash hits but my favourites were definitely Same Ol Mistakes, Sex With Me, Love On The Brain, Kiss It Better, Bitch Better Have My Money and many more.
My favourite moments from the concert was making new friends and also seeing how humble Rihanna is despite the fame. I’m glad I chose my fave’s ANTI World Tour as my first concert experience and I would definitely recommend that people go and see her live at least once.
Advice for attending a concert (especially for the first time):
Aim to get to the event as early as possible to ensure you get a good position
Bring extra cash with you in case of any emergencies or if you’d want to purchase some merchandise
Bring a light packed lunch with you that you can have during waiting time
Bring/purchase a fully charged portable charger
Spend less time recording on your device and spend more time enjoying the moment
Make sure you take care of yourself as well as your ticket especially when the gates open
Welcome back to my blog, I had so much fun filming The Ghana/Ethnicity Tag with my amazing friend Angel for my YouTube channel THECLASSICMANNY in which we answered questions relating to our country – from our Ghanaian names to our favourite sayings? Most of the questions were found online but added a few that felt were missing.
I am half Ghanaian and Antiguan but those that know me or have seen my previous videos may know that I know more about my Ghanaian side. However, I plan on getting to know my Antiguan side a bit more over the next few years.
If you are Ghanaian (or want to remix this questions to where you are from) and would like to partake in this tag, the questions will be down below:
1.) What is your full name?
2.) When was the last time you went to Ghana?
3.) Where do you live in Ghana and what tribe are you from?
4.) Do you speak your language?
5.) What is your favourite Ghanaian food?
6.) What around your house represents your culture?
7.) What ridiculous question(s) have you been asked about your culture/country?
8.) What are some of your favourite Ghanaian sayings?
9.) What is your ethnicity?
10.) What songs reminds you of your country?
11.) What are your favourite Ghanaian movies?

“Don’t let negativity affect your vision. A lot of people have said harsh things, but I don’t let it affect me. If anything it gives me more enthusiasm and pushes me to do better in my career so I can prove them wrong.”
– Nicole Polizzi
Check out one of my recent videos on my channel in which I talk about dealing with negativity. I share my personal experiences of dealing with negativity as well as my thoughts on why people feel the need to be negative towards other. In addition to this, I also give advice on how to avoid allowing negativity to affect you.
I’ve been there and I know how it feels to have people bring you down but it is essential that you understand the reason behind it and most importantly know who you are. Once you understand that, it wouldn’t be a surprise to you and you will know not to give then the attention. I am so blessed and thankful to have had and still have people who I could turn to during times like these.
There are many people who have ended their lives and/or self-harmed (physically, mentally, emotionally…) due to negativity and I really hope that I can inspire as well as encourage people to stay true to who they are and not allow negativity to affect them.
As I stated in the video, I’ll be doing more storytimes/advice videos in which I will share my experiences in greater detail.
Please NEVER give an individual (who is most likely insecure with who they are) the power to walk all over you.
